Susan Wheeler is a jewelry designer and the Founder of The Chicago Responsible Jewelry Conference and non profit The Responsible Jewelry Transformative.
Susan Wheeler has brought individuals from across the globe and from all points of the jewelry supply chain together with NGO's, Government Representatives, Civil Society and individuals to discuss and promote responsibility and sustainability within the jewelry industry. Susan is a proponent of formalization of Artisanal and Small Scale mining and the spread of CRAFT code throughout the sector. She is devoted to furthering the movement of responsible jewelry and brining the jewelry industry together to achieve the SDGs through education. Initiates and community.
