Bio
I am a young and enthusiastic postgraduate environmentalist with experience in sustainable natural resources management and rural livelihoods. My line of work has been the nexus between conservation initiatives and improvement of rural livelihoods. Special interest has been the life of artisanal and small scale miners in protected areas with focus on how they can be incorporated as agents of sustainable forest management against the current negative publicity out there about their work. I am part of a network of seasoned researchers in ASM both local and international and I intend to continue growing in this important area.
